X Reader

Spawned from our love of internet creativity, journeymen Michael and Jordan crack open a few choice fan fictions to see what the web's most confident writers have to offer. We're not here to laugh, we're here to understand....and sometimes also laugh.

ROB Talk 5 - (Episode 7, Season 2)

It’s not breaking news to say that 2020 has been a dogshit year, but we’re finally through. As we(and by we I mean Michael) begin gathering fan fictions for the next season of X Reader, we’re reflecting on what it means to produce content and to enjoy art that others have created.

I started X Reader firstly to entertain myself and to scratch my “need-to-create” itch. But as it has gone on I’ve realized that there really is something of value here more than just having a chuckle at the writing of some horny fanboys(and fangirls).

I hope that with some better outreach and maybe getting some more creators on board we can maintain the the course that we’ve set with the first two seasons and make the next the best one yet.

ROB Talk by Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus

But wait! “What about ROB Talk”? I hear you ask, nobody, cause nobody is reading this.
Fine I’ll talk. ROB Talk is our only multi-part series in X Reader and this is the final installment. We discuss Yoshizilla’s vast bibliography, Gen 3 Pokemon, Chrom from Fire Emblem, Jordan’s voice acting, It may not be the best fan fiction ever written, but it still holds a place in our hearts.

Jordan and I salute Yoshizilla with this last episode of the year. His dedication should not only act as an inspiration to fan fiction writers everywhere, but to artists in general. Create a lot. Create with passion. And create without shame, without fear of what others might expect or want. Trash isn’t devoid of value, it’s simply devoid of talent. And you don’t have to be talented to find a nugget of gold on the ground.

To us, ROB Talk is a nugget of gold. And we wouldn’t trade it for the world.
